Production Testing Methods for Metal and Plastic Components

Collaboration for Success

At the start of your project, we gather a team of experts to analyze your part and tooling designs to ensure that they will produce finished parts that meet specifications. Once your parts pass a feasibility review, we follow an advanced product quality planning (APQP) process to eliminate variation in your end results.

Tensile & Hardness Testing

For metal components, we perform destructive testing according to your specifications to ensure your parts conform to the proper tensile requirements. We also obtain hardness testing certification from our thermal processing partner and make the results available to you electronically for convenience.

Flawless Parts That Represent Your Brand

Human eyes can become blind to flaws when looking at the same parts time after time, but visual technology is not subject to the same weakness. We use photographic scanners to search for visual defects such as scratches or flash on your parts and ensure they match your exacting specifications. We also use photo spectrometers to measure the hue and tint to ensure the color of your plastic moldings align with your brand and standards

Parts That Fit Your Application

If your parts require tight tolerances, we are up to the challenge! We use a variety of tools to ensure your parts meet dimensional specifications, including go/no-go gauges, calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and a variety of other dimensional gauging mechanisms.
