Finishing and Assembly Services

Beyond in-die assembly, LMC Industries offers post-production product assembly for finished parts and components. If your end product includes components manufactured outside of LMC, we can store an inventory of those items and assemble them with the parts we produce on-site, delivering a complete assembly rather than individual components.

We have also built custom assembly equipment in-house for specialized programs where standard approaches don’t meet the throughput or precision requirements of the application.

LMC Industries offers thermal processing through a partnership with an industry-leading heat treating and metal finishing company located just a few miles from LMC’s facility. By coordinating these services on behalf of customers, LMC eliminates the need to source and manage a separate finishing vendor. Parts are transferred to the partner facility and returned to LMC for any remaining assembly, kitting, or logistics steps before final shipment.

Yes. We can store inventory of components manufactured by other suppliers and assemble them with the parts LMC produces, delivering a finished or kitted assembly rather than separate components. Rather than coordinating assembly yourself or managing another vendor, LMC serves as the single point of coordination.

For programs where standard assembly equipment doesn’t meet throughput, precision, or consistency requirements, we design and build custom assembly equipment in-house, engineered specifically for your part geometry, tolerances, and production volumes.

It makes the most sense at high volume, when assembly precision is critical to function or safety, or when manual assembly introduces unacceptable variability. The upfront investment is typically offset by lower per-part costs and improved consistency over the life of the program.
