Our Heritage and History
LMC began with a toolmaker’s dream to innovate and build high quality equipment to improve the manufacturability of customers’ products. In the years since our founding in 1945 by Fred Suellentrop, Sr., our company has evolved into one where professionals are engaged in developing customer specific technical solutions and leading the enterprise. Our governance process has evolved to include Outside Board members working with shareholders to shape our future.
Still family owned nearly 75 years later; our founder’s same Guiding principles drive our business today:
- Innovation – Creativity, agility, Productivity, BETTER, FASTER, CHEAPER
- Quality – Data Based Decision Making, Lean Manufacturing Operating Discipline, Suppler Development, Internal Training & development, Drive for Continuous Improvement
- Trust – Integrity, Honesty, Respect, Living by our Code of Conduct
- Serving Others – Customer 1st focus on decision-making, Accountability = Courage, Teamwork, Recognition, Safety, Respect Differences, Supplier Partnerships, Community
